What is your favorite spot on the University of Tennessee campus?

  • The benches in front of Ayres are the best spot on campus! When sitting on the bench you can thoroughly enjoy the architecture of Ayres which inspired the checkerboard enzones, seasonal flowers, large trees, and the hastle of students. The benches provide instant therapy- you should check it out!

What do you think is the best part of Sorority Recruitment at UT?

  • The best part of sorority recruitment is meeting all different women. During recruitment I became very good friends with girls in my Gamma Chi group and I met amazing woman in all different chapters. I now see many of these women around campus and we always stop to catch up on life!

What piece of advice would you give to a potential new member (PNM)?

  • As a former PNM, I would recommend that everyone smile and speak up during recruitment. Every chapter member wants to hear what you have to say! Don't be afraid to tell a funny summer story or admit that you secretly watch High School Musical also!

Why did you go through Sorority Recruitment?

  • I went through recruitment as a freshman because I was coming from Ohio and did not know a single person except for those that I met during Orientation. I was not sure about whether Greek life was for me, however, I know now that I made the right decision to go through recruitment.

What is your best sorority moment?

  • My best sorority moment was when I recieved a Little Sister. As a big sister I was able to pass down the traditions of my family and develop a sisterly bond that will always remain between the two of us!

How has your sorority helped you academically?

  • My sorority has helped with my GPA through proctored study hours, study groups with sisters of the same major, and constant encouragement to study and succeed in school!
