What is your favorite spot on the University of Tennessee campus?

  • In the spring, I love to sit outside at Humanities Amphitheatre. The potted tulips are blooming and surrounding trees are budding. It is beautiful on a cool sunny day.

What do you think is the best part of Sorority Recruitment at UT?

  • I loved Skit Round! The parties were full of energy and the skits were really creative and cute. Fun drinks were served, and it was time where I really got to see how the sorority members interacted.

What piece of advice would you give to a potential new member (PNM)?

  • Take notes in your Sorority Scope. Day One (Open House) was almost overwhelming in that you visit all the Chapters. My notes helped me throughout the week. Stay calm, and be yourself. Don't hesitate to ask your Gamma Chi questions. Also, it can get really hot in the suites so wear something you will be comfortable in. Get to know the other girls in your Gamma Chi group. I started off making friends from there. Enjoy recruitment and stay optimistic!

Why did you go through Sorority Recruitment?

  • The University of Tennessee is a large campus filled with an unlimited amount of opportunities. I wanted to establish myself somewhere where I felt I could grow, meet amazing people, and make life-long memories

What is your best sorority moment?

  • I love to perform! Carnicus and All-Sing are always a good time, but the best sorority moment would have to be Big Sister Revealing. The excitement is contagious and the bonding unforgettable!

How has your sorority helped you academically?

  • I have chapter members that are in my major and we try to take some classes together to form a strong study group. My sorority sisters are encouraging and full of advice.
