What is your favorite spot on the University of Tennessee campus?
- I have two favorite spots... Starbucks in the library, and the TREC.
What do you think is the best part of Sorority Recruitment at UT?
- Getting to experience each sorority, and learning that they are not all the same. Each one has something special to offer that is unique and different from all the others.
What piece of advice would you give to a potential new member (PNM)?
- Stay true to yourself. That is one of the best ways to find where you belong
Why did you go through Sorority Recruitment?
- I am from a small town, and even though I had several friends from my hometown that came to UT, I wanted to meet new people to broaden my circle of friends. Also, I was always really involved in high school and knew that I still could be if I joined a sorority.
What is your best sorority moment?
- It's so hard to narrow it down because there are so many... but I have met some of the greatest people in my life by being in a sorority! I think one of my favorite things has been getting to live with my sisters. That has definitely been a blast! Also, I have gained so much leadership experience not only within my own chapter, but also in Panhellenic. I know that those experiences are some that I will keep with me and use in the future.
How has your sorority helped you academically?
- My chapter holds academics in very high regards. Study hours are offered in the library every day of the week. Also, those with high GPAs are rewarded with ice cream socials and other fun events, which encourages us to make good grades!
