What is your favorite spot on the University of Tennessee campus?

  • My favorite spot is probably this place my friends and I call the cliff. Its not directly on campus, but over by the Woodlands and it looks over the River and all of Knoxville, including campus. It's amazing! Besides that, I love over by Circle Park.

What do you think is the best part of Sorority Recruitment at UT?

  • Sorority recruitment allows you to meet so many different people you would have never met. Even after Bid Day, you still continue to meet new people, even in other chapters. I think that is the best part of recruitment: knowing the opportunity to meet so many people.

What piece of advice would you give to a potential new member (PNM)?

  • Just realize that recruitment is a stressful week, and do not have any expectations. If you have expectations, the chances of every single one being met is slim. So, just take the week a day at a time and keep your mind open.

Why did you go through Sorority Recruitment?

  • When I came to school here, I did not know a single person. UT seemed like an incredibly scary and large place, but the idea of recruitment and immediately having at least familiar faces on this huge campus seemed like something I had to do. Recruitment was the best decision I have made since being at UT.

What is your best sorority moment?

  • I think just bonding with your pledge class, whether its on the sorority residence hall, or through social functions. Getting to know the girls, even if its just talking, is my favorite memory.

How has your sorority helped you academically?

  • Every sorority has a GPA requirement, and so I think that alone has helped me towards doing my best in school. Also, other ladies in my sorority have helped with my GPA simply because someone has taken this class before you in your sorority, so they can suggest a certain teacher, or help you with any thing you do not understand.
