What is your favorite spot on the University of Tennessee campus?
- The T-Rec. I love working out and the new aquatic center is AMAZING. Definitely my favorite spot on campus.
What do you think is the best part of Sorority Recruitment at UT?
- Getting to dress up and look cute everyday :)
What piece of advice would you give to a potential new member (PNM)?
- Follow your heart. I came to UT with about 5 of my best friends, and we all went through recruitment together. Including my roommate, we dispersed between 3 different chapters. I understand you think it's hard to go a chapter that your bestfriends aren't, but from experience, it was probably one of the best decisions I made. I got to move out of my little click of friends and meet so many amazing girls. I still hang out with my friends from highschool ALL the time, (we're all living together next year) and going a different chapter hasn't changed a thing.
Why did you go through Sorority Recruitment?
- I'm from Nashville, so I knew a million people coming to UT and that were already here. I didn't do recruitment to make friends, as much as a way for me to get involved on campus with girls that I enjoyed being around.
What is your best sorority moment?
- Bid Day.. When everyone stands around the balcony doing their cheers with the new ladies. Then chapters drop their banners and everyone sees where all the ladies went. It's awesome.
How has your sorority helped you academically?
- My sorority has set GPA standards that are totally aquirable, but that I have to work hard to mantain. This keeps me in check, knowing that I have to do well in school to attend all the social functions and other events with my chapter.
