SORORITY FINANCIAL INFORMATION
The semester dues to join one of the 13 National Panhellenic Conference Sororities at the University of Tennessee can range from $600 - $850 depending on sorority, the average semester dues cost is $700. This fee range also includes any house fees or parlor fees that the sorority might require.
It is also important to note that the first semester of membership there are additional new member fees which can range from $150 - $400 per sorority, the average new member fee is $260. In addition, you will purchase a sorority badge as a new member which varies in cost but can range from $58- $155.
At Sorority Village, the rent per semester is similar if not less than on-campus residence hall rent and can range from $2,500 a semester to $2,700. Meal plans are comparable in cost to a dining plan on campus and each sorority determines if they will have a meal plan and how often they will serve meals.
Sororities often work with members to establish payment plans which can assist you in paying the full cost over the course of the semester.
