“Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest,” this is the motto of Kappa Delta and what our members work to encompass in every aspect of their lives. For over 80 years, the Alpha Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta has been devoted to the betterment of the University of Tennessee, the surrounding Knoxville area, their philanthropies, and themselves.

Known campus wide as one of the most involved chapters on campus, our KD ladies can truly be called volunteers. Winning the Panhellenic involvement award in fall 2005, our sisters can be found working in everything from ACE to Orientation Leaders, SGA to Team Vols. Kappa Delta’s involvement is accomplished through a sincere care for others, a dedication to one another and the commitment each member has made to participate in bettering our national philanthropies. Having more philanthropies than any other NPC sorority, Kappa Delta’s philanthropies include: War of the Wings, a football game day tradition since 1992 benefiting the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, Golf Classic for Prevent Child Abuse America, Orthopedic Research, sponsorship of a local Girl Scout Troop, and a national partnership with The Junior League.
