Delta Zeta and its members focus on four important attributes: sisterhood, high academic standards, philanthropy and friendship. Delta Zetas are involved all over campus participating in: Student Government Association, Student Alumni Association, The Trust, Campus Crusade, Student Senate, Intramural Sports, UT Dance Company, Freshman Council, Vol Hostess and Honor Societies such as Order of Omega and Phi Eta Sigma, as well as many other organizations. Each year Delta Zeta holds a live auction benefitting Tennessee School for the Deaf and a Parents Tailgate before a UT football game. DZ also participates in ACE events, such as Homecoming, All-Sing, Carnius, and Vol Challenge, as well as Relay for Life, Dance Marathon, other sorority and fraternity philanthropic events, and volunteer projects on campus and all over the Knoxville Community. Some fun events Delta Zeta sponsors every year are spring and fall Parentís Weekends, sisterhood retreats, mixers, Date Parties and Formals. DZ also provides opportunities for academic and financial scholarships. The sisters of Delta Zeta hold high standards for themselves and enjoy helping others while having fun at the same time.
