The Delta Pi Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega is made up of over 150 women from all over the United States. Nationally, Alpha Chi Omega has over 200,000 initiated members. Our national philanthropies include providing support and service to the victims of domestic violence and supporting the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation that provides numerous services and financial support to alumnae. One of our local philanthropies in Knoxville is to support the women and children affiliated with the YWCA. Throughout the year we work very closely with the residents and staff of the YWCA. We help with the upkeep of the facility as well as provide the residents with toiletries, clothing, and goodie bags. Every fall we raise money through our annual philanthropy event, Dessert Fest, which goes directly to the YWCA. We also work with the Wesley Foundation, a local charity that provides after school programs for underprivileged and abused children. Our newest spring philanthropy event Paintblast, an annual paintball tournament, supports this group.

We are also very active on UT’s campus. We have members included in many different campus organizations, such as: Student Government Association, All Campus Events (ACE), Student Alumni Association, the Daily Beacon, UT Dance Company, UT Majorettes, Lady Vols Volleyball, Orange Pride and Campus Entertainment Board, just to name a few.
