Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1851 in Macon, Georgia and was the first Greek organization for women. We are a chapter that focuses on community, diversity, and sisterhood. ADPi has many ladies that are involved in a wide range of activities here on campus. We have girls in the Student Government Association, Student Alumni Associates, Orange Pride, Ambassadors, Panhellenic Exec, and All Campus Events. You can also find our sisters on intramural teams, the UT Dance Company and the UT swim team. We even have a majorette! In addition, one of our girls co-founded Orange Nation, and we also have the 2007 Miss Homecoming. ADPi won All-Sing last year and also placed in both Homecoming events and Vol Challenge. This past spring we worked with the Lady Vol basketball team to raise money for our philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald House. We are so fortunate to have a Ronald McDonald House right here on campus. Each week a different group of our sisters volunteers some of their time there. We really pride ourselves on the support we give to the community and to each other. We encourage each girl to be herself and have been rewarded with a diverse group of young women. ADPi looks forward to sharing our chapter’s sisterhood and values with each potential new member coming through Recruitment this fall.
